WHAT IS IT:

Tiny, superficial injections are made into the deep or medium layers of the skin on the face, body or scalp with powerful, pure concentrates of sterile ingredients.

WHAT IS IT FOR:

WHAT HAPPENS:
The molecule size of many ingredients is too large to penetrate through the skin unless an access channel of some type is made. Mesotherapy treatment ensures ingredients reach the depth and tissue that they need to in order to have the most effect. These superficial microinjections also create an acupuncture effect, stimulating wound healing processes in the skin. New collagen is laid down and circulation is improved. This procedure aims to nourish, revitalise and repair the skin, and is often combined with Peels for a mutually enhancing effect.

We use the innovative Pistor Eliance Mesogun, named after Mesotherapy founder Dr Pistor, to make treatments comfortable, quick and accurate.

RRS® Biorevitaliser treatments utilise numerous active ingredients including vitamins, peptides, minerals and hyaluronic acids, all of which are vital for healthy skin function. Product is chosen according to the desired effect and includes: HA Injectable, HA Tensor Lift, HA Whitening, HA Skin Relax, HA Eyes, HA Strimatrix, HA Cellutrix, XL Hair, Silosorg, Silosorg  HA, Hyalifit 75, Hyalift 35 and Silosorg.

DOWNTIME:

The remainder of the treatment day, but the skin usually looks fine straight after treatment.

DISCOMFORT LEVEL:

Very tolerable for most. An anaesthetic cream can be used if desired.

RECOMMENDED FREQUENCY

A course of six treatments every one to two weeks is beneficial, followed by monthly maintenance. Combining this treatment with Peels or Microneedling may be recommended.

NEED TO KNOW:

There is a possibility of pinpoint bruises developing which can be covered with make-up. Very rarely a larger bruise may occur. Avoiding vasodilating ingredients and activities pre-treatment can minimise the chances of bruising.

If there is a history of herpes (cold sores) in the treatment area, the prophylactic use of antiviral creams or oral antivirals is recommended prior to and post-treatment.

No exercise or heat exposure for 24 hours post-treatment.

No touching of the treatment site for 5 hours post-treatment.

No Aspirin, fish oils, Curcumin and any blood thinning or anticoagulant agents for 1 to 3 days before treatment.

Other requirements may apply if combined with treatments such as Peels.
